1How does the SnapCyte™ App work?
When you snap a photo of your cell culture and start the process, the SnapCyte™ App analyzes the image and the results are shown as cell confluency percentage. The read-out appears in seconds, along with a transparency mask to check accuracy. You can also define an experimental set up to follow cell growth in different groups and for several time points. You can check the mask accuracy by increasing or decreasing the transparency.
2How do I mount the SnapCyte™ Adapter to my microscope?
Watch our phone setup guide to see how it’s done. It takes 2-3 minutes to mount the SnapCyte™ Adapter to your microscope and test the app.
3Does the app/adapter work on all microscopes?
Yes, the SnapCyte™ App and adapter work on all standard bright field (BF) microscopes, both upright and inverted.
4How do I use the SnapCyte™ Adapter on phones with multiple cameras?
Make sure you set up your phone on the microscope as recommended, aligning your main camera with the adapter lens. If you continue to have problems, contact us.
5Can I add more users to my subscription plan?
Yes, you can. It is recommended to have individual user accounts for all lab members for optimal functionality and data privacy. You can add multiple users when buying your subscription. contact us if you have any questions or want to make any changes to your current plan.
